Team Training Group celebrates the Blyth Tall Ship Gala Dinner with Connect Northumberland
At Team Training Group we believe that being a part of the community and networking with local people can make all the difference. It’s just good business.
On Friday 28th February we attended the Blyth Tall Ship Gala Dinner at the new Energy Central Campus in Blyth. One of our company directors, Kara Beecroft, attended as a guest joining the fantastic Connect Northumberland team for a night of food, fundraising and great company.
This event showcased our incredible community and commitment to excellence in the North East. Everything from the venue – which is a £15million STEM education and vocational training facility based at the Port of Blyth. The TTG team had the chance to take a look behind the scenes at the state-of-the-art classrooms, research facilities and take in the innovation happening in our local area.
The event raised over £10,000 to allow the charity to provide experiences, employability programmes and wellbeing support. It was a great opportunity to raise money, network with like-minded people and enjoy performances of both The Blyth Sea Shanty singers and local band -The Klassix. Kara was also delighted to have won a raffle prize for some home-decorating.
To everyone who organised this fantastic event, thank you. Also, a personal thanks to Connect Northumberland for the invitation to attend and support such a brilliant local charity.
